Contemporary Textile Treats

Local artist Honor Pedican leads this enjoyable, creative session using a heat press to create your own unique, textile-based artworks.  

Take a short walk around site, at this stunning Hope Mountain location [or simply choose from Honor’s collection], to gather suitable natural things to act as stencils.  Using specialist paints, immortalise chosen natural items to create delightful surface-pattern pieces, using this contemporary, resist technique.  

Watch the press timer count down, while the heat adds the finishing touches, including the element of surprise as creations are revealed.  Lots of opportunities to try different colours and blends, with both natural and homemade stencils.  

Share this pleasurable experience with a friend or relative, then both leave armed with lots of creations to give as bespoke gifts or to brighten up your own homes.

NB.  No previous painting experience needed.
